About us
Here at Hillside Accountancy, we provide personalised accounting, tax and advisory services.
We don’t believe in a ‘one size fits all’ offering when it comes to something as important as your financial affairs.
Hillside Accountancy was founded to offer something more personal. We deliver not just expertise, but genuine support and partnership, where clients feel heard, understood, and confident in their decisions.
The name is inspired by Ashton-Under-Hill, the village where we are based, nestled beside Bredon Hill. It also reflects our approach to working with clients: we believe that you deserve an accountant who’s always by your side, offering support, insight and reassurance every step of the way.

Numbers have always been in the family. My grandmother was a bookkeeper, and I remember being fascinated by her stories and her collection of calculators. That early exposure sparked my own love of organisation, problem-solving and the satisfaction of getting things right.
From a young age, I was drawn to understanding money – not just my own, but helping others make sense of theirs too. I enjoyed bringing clarity to the things people found confusing. That mindset stayed with me, naturally evolving into a career in accountancy.
I began my career in accountancy in 2007 and have since gained extensive technical and commercial experience across both practice and industry. This includes managing audits at an independent practice, acting as Financial Controller for an international wine business, and more recently working as an Associate Director at a Top‑10 national accountancy firm.
Along the way, I’ve learned that while technical skills are vital, it’s commercial awareness, trust, empathy and clear communication that make a great accountant.
Aside from work, I enjoy playing competitive netball in a local league, walking in the countryside and travelling all over the world.
I was part of a youth group that founded the Ourside Youth Association in Evesham which aims to better the lives of young people in the local community. The youth centre was established over 20 years ago and I remain actively involved with the charity, including, naturally, helping them with their accounts! I also held the position of Finance Chair on the Board of Governors for a local nursery school.
